Congratulations to the members of the DTA 99 Girls Red and White teams who combined forces to win three "3v3 Live" Tournaments this summer! The team competed in Georgetown, Pflugerville, and San Antonio and have qualified for nationals in San Antonio this February 2009. |
99G Black Take First Place in CAYSA Tournament, May 12, 2008
| The DTA 99 Girls Black took first place in the CAYSA tournament this weekend. After losing their first game 0-1, the girls won four straight and avenged their earlier loss by beating the same team in the Championship. The championship match was tied 1-1 after regulation then 2-2 at the end of overtime. The girls finally won in a penalty kick shootout on the seventh round. Congratulations! |

End of Spring Season 2008:
‘96 Red Boys – Coach James
- place first in their bracket B in Director’s Cup in the spring
- go undefeated during the spring season
- lowest goal against with only 3 goals scored on in 7 games
- made the western district playoffs- May 3-4, 2008
‘94 Red Boys- Coach Malek
- Placed first in spring President’s Cup
- Go undefeated with only one tie during the spring season- 7-0-1 overall record
- Team scored most goals for and allowed 6 goals in 8 games
- Playing in western districts this weekend
‘91 white Boys- Coach James
- Playing in the state championships for Directors Cup this weekend in Houston
- Undefeated against own age group in spring season…6-2 overall record
Still Playing Spring 2008:
‘92 Red Boys- Coach Malek
- Have a chance to clinch 1st place in President’s Cup if they win their last two games this week
Other Spring 2008 News and Notes:
- ’91 Red Boys- Shane Randig made 4A ALL Centex first team
- Invited Region III ODP camp in July
- ’91 Red Boys –Gk Trey led Vista Ridge to the semi final’s of 4A HS state championships
- ’90 Red Boys- Parnell led Stony Point HS and his district in goals scored.

Congratulations to the DTA ‘94 Boys Black team on a great effort advance to the Semifinal’s at the 15th Georgetown Force tournament this past weekend. The team played extremely well and lost in the semi’s on Pk’s. |

DTA 93G Red U-16 Champions at 2007 Dallas Texans Fall Festival
 |
The '93 Red Dallas Texans Austin girls team won the U-16 division championship of the Dallas Texans Fall Festival. The team played up against two '92 teams beating one and tying the other, as well as beating two '93 teams. The team outscored their opponents 11-4 in route to the championship. The '93 Dallas Texans Austin are coached by The DTA Girl's Coaching Director K.C. Crabb. The team is in action again next week at The D'Feeters annual Thanksgiving Showcase. |
