All U8 and younger recreational games are played at Texans Fields at Riverwalk - 1 Riverwalk Drive, Hutto, TX 78634. U9 and older home games will also be played at the Riverwalk complex.
Our Spring 2019 Coach’s Meeting will be held at Riverwalk on 2/23 from 8:30 - 10:30 am. Please be there. Austin Texans Director of Player Development, David Garcia Hevia, will be conducting training for all coaches, and Leslie DeHart, Recreational Coordinator, will be answering any administrative questions. Coaching kits will be handed out to new coaches.
For any questions, please contact David Garcia Hevia, Director of Player Development
Each team's practice times will vary. The youngest teams, 6U and below, will practice once a week. 8U and above will practice twice a week. However, each team is unique, and these times may change. Each team will communicate these specifics with their families. If there is a time or night of the week that you cannot practice, please make note of it during the registration process.
This program offers free professional coaching for those players who want a "little extra" in addition to their recreational team practice. So, perhaps a bit more structure, a bit more discipline, and a focus on ball techniques.
The training is on Mondays, starting 2/25, at TFR Field 1E.
2013-2015 Birth Years Training from 5:30-6:15

We thank you so much for dedicating your time, experience, and passion for the game and kids!
We anticipate that you will have a very rewarding season with your young players, and that you will develop your coaching experience as well. We hope you will take advantage of the various coaching resources provided!
A vital part of this process is COACH REGISTRATION. We, and you, are committed to providing a safe environment for all players. The coach registration process includes a background check, required to coach a team.
Field Marshals are generally used at games at TFR (Hutto). However, there will also be games at TFP (Hill Country Bible Church-Pflugerville) and 1849 Park.
You may wonder, what am I signing up to do as a field marshall? In general, you will be walking the grounds, directing participants to their fields, answering general questions and monitoring for any issues/injuries. There may be times that you may be asked to help with a particular task, but in general, most of the time you will be walking the fields.
For this role and location we are requesting that volunteers be a minimum of 16 years old. You can always bring your child with you but please don't sign them up if they aren't old enough.
Thank you for all you do, volunteers are key to the success of our program and other events we hold throughout the year and we couldn't do it without your help.
