Texans GK Katelyn Chrisman, from the 02G Black Team, has officially committed to Texas State University!
Here is a quote from Katelyn Chrisman “First off, I am thrilled to commit to play soccer at Texas State University. There are so many people to thank. My teammates have been nothing but supportive of me, and their competitive drive has helped me become the best player I can be. I would also like to thank my coaches, particularly Nicki Swanson, who has trained me for four years, and Jessica Kim. Coach Kim has gone out of her way to not only coach my teammates and I on the field, but has also taught us how to be responsible student-athletes off the field. I wouldn’t have this opportunity without her hard work and dedication to me and my team. I would also like to thank the Austin Texans and JD Cochran for the opportunity to pursue playing women’s soccer at the club. And finally, I would like to thank my family for supporting me in everything I do.”
Katelyn and her family shared the amazing news with her teammates this past Tuesday!
Katelyn, We as a club are honored to have the opportunity to train, work, and grow with you over the years. You are an amazing young lady and we can’t wait to see what your future holds. Best of luck at Texas State University, we know you will make us proud!
