Texans Alumni

Feb 23rd St Edward’s University scrimmaged the Austin Texans on St Edward’s game field. “It was a great experience for our players to see the athleticism, speed of thought and speed of play before heading off to college”, says JD Cochran Girls Program Director. I want to give a shout out to Coach Nick Cowell who helped set this up. These type of events are what set our College Program apart from others. Our 2019 graduating class as well as some of the 2020 and 2021s have played College Squads now both in the Fall and Spring this year. “It’s impossible to replicate the environment where they will be heading soon. Best way is to get them playing against. Plan is to see the level and work towards it with the idea to hit the ground running when they get to College.”

Tryouts for the Austin Texans Soccer club are just around the corner. For more information contact JD Cochran @ 832-721-6509 or email jdcochran@austintexanssc.com
