Occasionally, the Austin Texans will do a search for club staff - office, management, and coaching.
This page will list open searches and application instructions.
If there is no immediate listing, and you have an interest in working with the Austin Texans, you are encouraged to submit a resume anyway, which emphasizes your area of interest, qualifications, and work experiences to date.
For potential select coaches, the protocol is as follows:
1. Submit resume to the General Manager at email@example.com.
2. Following a staff review, candidate will be invited to perform a demonstration coaching session with club players.
3. The session will be coordinated by the Technical Director, and observed by the T.D. and other available staff.
4. Staff will make a hiring recommendation to the Board, who will draft an agreement as an independent contractor.
Potential recreational coaches are encouraged to communicate your interest and background directly with the Youth Development Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All coaches, select and recreational, must successfully pass a South Texas Youth Soccer Association background check in order to be eligible to coach.
