USC Champions League 2019-2020
CONGRATULATIONS to Texan GK Katelyn Chrisman, from the 02 Girls Black Team, as she has committed to playing Women’s Soccer for Texans State University!
Here is a quote from Katelyn Chrisman “First off, I am thrilled to commit to play soccer at Texas State University. There are so many people to thank. My teammates have been nothing but supportive of me, and their competitive drive has helped me become the best player I can be. I would also like to thank my coaches, particularly Nicki Swanson, who has trained me for four years, and Jessica Kim. Coach Kim has gone out of her way to not only coach my teammates and I on the field, but has also taught us how to be responsible student-athletes off the field. I wouldn’t have this opportunity without her hard work and dedication to me and my team. I would also like to thank the Austin Texans and JD Cochran for the opportunity to pursue playing women’s soccer at the club. And finally, I would like to thank my family for supporting me in everything I do.”

The Austin Texans organization would like to offer their congratulation to 02G Black player Mackenzie May for committing to the University of California San Diego.
"I would like to thank my family for all of their love and support. A huge thank you to my team for their commitment and pushing me to be the best I can be. Thank you so much to my coach, Jessica Kim for all of your hard work and being an amazing role model for our team. Lastly, thank you to the Austin Texans for providing a platform that empowers female athletes."
The United Soccer Coaches (USC) League announced today the teams advancing to the National Finals in July. The USC is part of the National Premier League (NPL) which encompases 20 leagues across the United States. From those 20 leagues, League Champions and Runner Ups advance straight to the National Finals.
The Austin Texans have 4 teams advancing to Colorado. "This is a huge accomplishment for these 4 teams, the coaches and our Club" says Club Director JD Cochran.
The 04B team has advanced to the 2020 ENPL National Playoffs which will be held June 25-July 1 in Commerce City, CO, featuring 13-U through 19-U League Champions. Upon advancement they will attend the 2020 ENPL National Finals that will be held July 9-13 at the same location in Colorado: DICK'S Sporting Goods Park.
The 07G, 03G, and the 02G Black have all advanced to the National Cup Finals held July 17-21 in Colorado. US Club Soccer’s cup-based national championship competition proudly celebrates the National Cup XIX in summer 2020, as the 19th edition of the popular tournament. The National Cup XIX Finals will be held at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Teams in 13-U through 18/19-U age groups advance to the National Cup XIX Finals by winning a National Cup XIX Regional or through qualifying state cups. Titles are awarded in two divisions: Super Group (most competitive) and Premier Group.
Thoughts from our coaching staff.
"I am delighted for the 07G team. "The girls overcame adversity this spring with massive amounts of injuries, yet still qualified for a National tournament. They came together to win when necessary due to their close knit group and tough character. The girls held their standards high and kept themselves and teammates accountable for their performances. Very proud of this team of young ladies!" Simon Sanchez 07G
"It is a very exciting opportunity for the girls to be part of this experience", Albert Flores Austin Texans 03G.
"It is exciting for 02G Black to qualify for the National Cup Finals. This team is a special group of players who are committed to their craft and to each other. The team not only went undefeated in league play, but also succeeded in accomplishing a team goal that every player (all 18 players, goalkeepers included) will score at least one goal this year. I would like to express my gratitude to all of the parents for everything they do to help shape a great team culture and environment. We are all thrilled and looking forward to Colorado." Jessica Kim 02G Black
“Congrats to the boys for winning the USC Champions League for the 3rd consecutive year, outstanding achievement of this dedicated and talented team. We’re very much looking forward to competing at the ENPL Playoffs/Finals again and hopefully can land a coup this year!” Kai Gockell 04B

Last week, we announced a collaborative decision with AYSO, SAY and USSSA to immediately suspend all soccer activities through April 12. That suspension remains in place, and we will continue to communicate with you weekly throughout this process.
There will be a subsequent Member Update before April 12 addressing the possibility of returning to play or extending this cessation. We will rely on expert public health advice from organizations like the CDC, NIH and WHO in making this decision.
For our adult programming, please note the U.S. Adult Soccer Association (USASA) announced this past Monday that it is suspending all activities until at least April 30. Because US Club Soccer's adult members are registered with the U.S. Soccer Federation through USASA, this suspension applies to them, as well.
In the meantime, we invite you to take advantage of various digital and social media resources. We've hosted two Facebook Live sessions – with Positive Coaching Alliance on "Dealing with Disappointment" and with SportSessionPlanner on "Getting Organized in the Downtime" – and there are several more scheduled over the next few weeks. Additionally, here's a complimentary 4-week college recruiting plan for players, courtesy of ScoutingZone.
Please continue to do your part in flattening the curve by practicing social distancing and remaining vigilant in hygiene habits. You're welcome to visit usclubsoccer.org/coronavirus, which includes an FAQ section, as well as links to applicable information from the aforementioned health organizations.
Player Health & Safety will always be our first and foremost responsibility. Thank you for your attentiveness in this matter.
